1 Mins read

President Museveni has appointed the former Internal Security boss Col Frank Bagyenda commonly known as Kaka as Uganda’s ambassador to Angola.

Last week, Bagyenda was sacked from his position by President Museveni who replaced him with Lt. Col. Charles Oluka who formerly worked as the ISO’s director in charge of technical services.

According to security sources, Kaka’s appointment letter has been sent to the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga for approval to serve as the first Ugandan ambassador to Angola.

However, the Spokesperson of Parliament, Ms Hellen Kaweesa, said on Monday that she would consult the office of the speaker to confirm.

“Let me find out,” she said.

“He will be the pioneer ambassador to Angola. Yes, he was appointed,” a source, which preferred to remain anonymous said.
