1 Mins read

The Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) leader Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu has said they are ready to cause change in the country in the nearby future.

He said although Ugandans want to see the change of governance in the country but they fear what change would bring at the end of the day.

He made the remarks while meeting with party coordinators and candidates from the Acholi sub region.

“The country is looking for a credible alternative to trust. They desire change but fear what that change would bring. We are positioning ourselves to be that force,” he noted.

Muntu said that the Alliance for National Transformation is already influencing the country’s politics from manipulation and deception to politics of issues even when it is not yet in power.

“This is why we call ourselves a value-driven. Our candidates are part of an organisation that is seeking to transform Uganda,” said Muntu.

He said that they are well acquainted with the power in earning the trust of the people of Uganda therefore they will make sure to fulfil their promises.

“And so, we practice what we preach. We walk the talk. And believe that once Ugandans see and trust us, no amount of force will stand on our way,” he said.

He noted that although the journey to liberate the people of Uganda is a tough one, with God everything will be possible.
