128 New COVID-19 Confirmed As Death Toll Rises To 41

Ministry of health Uganda has announced the results from COVID-19 tests done on 05 September 2020 and 128 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed.

The cumulative total confirmed cases of Ugandans are now 3,667.

Two (2) COVID-19 deaths registered from Kampala and Jinja.

This brings the total COVID-19 deaths to 41.

Of the cases, 120 were contacts and alerts of which Kampala had 95, Wakiso had 13, Luweero had 3, Nwoya had 2, Amuru, Jinja, Kanungu, Manafwa, Maracha, Soroti and Zombo districts all had one case each.

Uganda now has a total of 1,608 recoveries.
