Moses Ahumuza a 23 year old student of Makerere University was beaten to death by thugs in Nyamakukuru trading centre in Rukungiri district.
According to the deceased friend, he (the deceased) went to the trading centre on Sunday evening and that is wehre he met the thugs that beat him. he was taken to Kisizi hospital where he breathed his last.
According to Elly Maate, the Kigezi regional police spokesperson, police was notified about the incident and they arrested two suspects who were identified as Trust Muramura, 18 and beatrice Tumwine, 48.
Both suspects were arrested and as investigations about the case go on.
The deceased was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and was a resident of Mitchell hall in Makerere.
