Uganda Records a 2nd COVID-19 Death

 The Ministry of Health has confirmed second COVID-19 today evening.

According to the Ministry, the deceased is an 80-year-old female who had been admitted to Mengo Hospital in Kampala.

The deceased was first admitted at Platinum hospital in Kampala after presenting signs and symptoms of Coronavirus that included fever, cough, chest pain and difficulty in breathinf.

She was later taken to Mengo hospital where she passed on Friday, July, 24,2020. After comprehensive tests, it was confirmed that the deceased had coronavirus.

Uganda reported it’s first COVID-19 related death on Thursday last week. As per now, Uganda has 1,103 cumulative cases of coronavirus, 982 recoveries and 2 deaths now.
