Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Kasirye Gwanga who has been unwell and was admitted to Nakaseero Hospital has died early this morning, sources confirm.
Social media has over the past weeks been awash with rumours of the General’s death although at the moment, the family only confirmed that he was in critical condition.
an unconfirmed report, says that the General underwent a brain, vein surgery.
At the beginning of last month, Kasirye Gwanga was put under the care of military doctors at a military facility in Mbuya after he became ill.
Major G0eneral Kasirye Ggwanga, was a Ugandan senior military officer in the Uganda People’s Defence Force. He was previously incarcerated as a prisoner of war for 897 days, inside both Uganda and Tanzania.
