13 Cases of COVID – 19 Detected, Uganda Now Stands At 114

The Ministry of Health confirms thirteen (13) new COVID-19 positive cases from 2,421 samples of truck drivers at border points of entry.

All 740 samples taken from the community tested negative for COVID-19.

The total number of tests done today are 3,161 at Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI).

The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases is now 114.

Confirmed new cases:

1. A. 23-year-old Kenyan male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry

2. A 34-year-old Ugandan male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry

3. A 46-year-old Tanzanian male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry

4. A 42-year-old Ugandan male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry

5. A 26-year-old Kenyan male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry

6. A 38-year-old Kenyan male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry

7. A 30-year-old Ugandan male who arrived from Tanzania via Mutukula border point of entry

8. A 56-year-old Kenyan male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry

9. A 35-year-old Kenyan male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry

10. A 30-year-old Kenyan male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry

11. A 27-year-old Tanzanian male who arrived from Tanzania via Mutukula border point of entry

12. A 44-year-old Kenyan male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry

13. A 32-year-old Ugandan male who arrived from Kenya via Malaba border point of entry
