Mityana Municipality MP, Hon Francis Zaake’s life remains fragile at Rubaga hospital in Kampala.

Speaker of parliament recently revealed that she visited the legislator a few days ago and his situation has not improved that much.

“Yesterday I visited hon Kato Lubwama, he is recovering from surgery at Medpal hospital off Acacia Avenue   Was In jocular spirit despite his situation. Also visited Hon Zaake at Rubaga hospital, was in pain and trauma.

Wish them both a speedy recovery,” tweeted the speaker of parliament.

Kyadondo East Member of parliament Bobi Wine also visited Zaake and said his situation is not good.

“An ophthalmologist tried to examine Hon. Zaake’s eyes but discovered that he is suffering from a condition known as photophobia (fear of light/pain to the eyes due to light exposure) which has made it almost impossible to open his eyes for examination,” said Bobi Wine before adding that;

“Accordingly, the ophthalmologist gave him some eyedrops to manage the pain, and spectacles to reduce on the light entering his eyes. It is only after the photophobia subsides that a thorough examination will be possible.

“He still suffers from acute migraines as well as excruciating back pain. Otherwise he is steadily recovering”
