News reaching our desk is that Coronavirus has finally entered Uganda through Entebbe.
Residents of Entebbe are not only in shock, and taking precautions as Entebbe B hospital has cases of Coronavirus from Chinese.
The COVID 19 was first declared by China on 31st December 2020 and has now spread to all continents on Earth and over 47 countries are affected.
In Africa, Nigeria, Algeria and Egypt have already reported cases.
MoH quick update on COVID-19
The Ministry of Health is currently isolating four foreign nationals at Entebbe Hospital. They were picked up from Entebbe International Airport after presenting with flu and cough symptoms by our surveillance teams.
Samples have been collected and are being tested at UVRI
The Ministry of Health will inform the public accordingly.
In addition, MoH requests the general public to remain calm and follow the provided preventive measures.
