Fifteen people have been confirmed to have died on spot after a taxi they were traveling in rammed into a stationary Tata killing all the occupants on spot.
According to ASP James MubiBusoga East Regional police spokesperson Taxi Reg number UBD 089A that was traveling from Namayingo to Kampala rammed into a stationary sugarcane Tata reg number UWP 616 at Imanyiro village.
He said all the bodies of the deceased were taken to Mayuge health Centre IV for post Morten examination.
He also noted that the cause of the accident at this stage is not yet established.
He however said that police continue to carry out more investigation in the matter.
