The suspect in the gruesome murder of motor cyclist (boda boda) son on CCTV footage that circulated widely in the social media has been arrested.
The suspect was arrested at Nsiike I, Ndeeba, Rubaga Kampala last night 16/07/2019 after a tip off.
The suspect is identified as Mugisha John Bosco alias Mukiga. Mugisha admits that he is the one in the video with his colleague called Young Mulo (not the musician).
He confessed that Young Mulo was killed by the mob on 3/7/2019 on suspicion that that had stolen a motor cycle.
Mugisha admits that they had robbed the motor cycle from Mityana on 2/7/2019 and they were traced up to Makindye in Kampala, where the mob killed his colleague.
Mugisha alleges that he escaped that day, and went to Kabale.
Mugisha has been arrested several times and he has been sent to Luzira Prisons many times on robbery, cases.
Mugisha and his colleague murdered Mr. Derrick Mulindwa a resident of Nabweru, Nansana Municipality on 30/June/2019.
He is currently detained at Katwe Police pending transfer to Old Kampala Police Station.
He will be charged with murder and aggravated Robbery.
