Museveni Returns from China

President Yoweri Museveni is back home from an official working to the People’s Republic of China.

During his stay in China, Mr. Museveni gave a keynote address at the official opening of Coordinators’ meeting of the Implementation of the follow up Action of Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) that took place in Beijing the capital of China and also held talks with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, among other engagements.

At the end of his Beijing schedule, the President undertook a 2- day visit to Hunan Province where he officially opened the China Africa Economic and Trade Expo and also visited the birthplace of the founding father of the People’s Republic of China, the late Chairman Mao Zedong in Shaoshan. President Museveni was received on arrival at Entebbe International Airport this afternoon by Presidency Minister, Hon. Esther Mbayo, the Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet Mr. John Mitala and security officials
