Ntinda Taxi Conductor Resigns After Winning Shs104m with 1k Stake

1 Mins read

Ntinda-Kampala taxi conductor on Monday resigned his job after shockingly winning 104 million Uganda shillings from Fortebet.

While receiving his money at Fortebet head office in Kololo, this Kisaasi resident (name withheld on his request) said, “From today, I will nolonger be a taxi conductor because I am now my own boss.”

His financial transformation came after he walked into Fortebet’s Ntinda betting shop and he placed his 1000/= bet on only 15 selections. This winner picked all the 15 selections from Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru.

Most interesting about his ticket, for all the 15 matches, he only went for over 2.5 (atleast 3 goals)-all with odd 2. This gave him a big grand odd of 122,711.83 and from 1000/=, generated 104,305,056/=

“I want to thank Fortebet for being trustworthy. I thought it would take me long to get this money, but I got it within less than an hour after arriving at Kololo office. I am going to buy land and build a house plus farming, buy a car and also organise an introduction for my dear wife,” the winner noted.

The money was handed over to the winner on Monday at Fortebet head office at Kololo by accountant David Ssendagire.

“I would like to confirm that one of our core values at Fortebet is instant payment, irrespective of the amount won. I would also encourage other bettors to always explore the many side bets that Fortebet always gives you, like this winner did.”

Fortebet made this payment barely a week after paying another punter 405million shillings on Thursday last week. Congratulations!
