Betty Kamya Axed From Her Own Party

Minister for Kampala, Betty Olive Namisango Kamya has been kicked out of Uganda Federal Alliance (UFA), a party she started in 2009.

According to the members of UFA, Betty Kamya betrayed them when she joined the ruling government in 2016.

According to the UFA Spokesperson, Baker Byayi Ssenyonga, Betty Kamya was given enough time to change her decision and go back to the party but she failed

In August 2017 the leadership of the Uganda Federal Alliance threatened to take disciplinary action party president Betty Kamya who is currently serving president Museveni’s government as Minister for Kampala.

In 2015 over 1000 members of the Uganda federal alliance abandoned the party and joined the People’s Development Party under the leadership of Abed Bwanika

Hon. Betty Kamya is yet to respond but she is currently in Kyankwanzi for the NRM retreat.
