The Police at Najjera, a Kampala suburb have arrested one suspect identified as Buwembo Shemmy on charges of aggravated robbery and impersonation.
He was arrested today at around 1132hrs at Bulabira cell, Kira Municipality in Wakiso district.
Ms Mirembe Robinah ,27 years, house maid of one Kabubi Voila all residents of Bulabira cell, Kira Municipality in Wakiso district reported to Police that as she was at home, she received a staff of perfect fumigation one Buwembo Shemmy.
She alleges that the suspect had a form of UMEME which he gave her to load units and as she moved out, Buwembo Shemmy entered in the house and robbed a star times TV 40inch, a laptop, a bag, and a knife.
Police recovered all these items from the suspect’s motor vehicle Reg. No. UAG 250K corona.
It has been found out that the suspect Buwembo Shemmy is a common conman who tricks maids and house boys in the area as a UMEME official or a manager fumigator and he robs them using motor vehicle UAG 250k.
Inquiries in this matter continue with a view of identifying other culprits and progress will be communicated
