Bobi Wine Posted on his Facebook page that;

Today, we joined thousands of mourners at to send off the late Bishop imeritus Cyprian Bamwoze of Busoga Diocese who died on monday 11th February.

I personally loved him for standing for the truth even at difficult times. Ironically, just yesterday we were observing a public holiday in honour of Archbishop Jonan Luwun who was killed for speaking truth to power in the 1970’s and Bishop Bamwoze was such a religious leader who lived in our times. We must learn from such amazing men of God and we shall make our country a better place to live in.

On our way back to Kampala, we were ambushed by the crowds that were waiting for us on the road sides chanting ‘People Power, Our Power’, at Namawojolo road tall, i was overwhelmed by gifts ranging from Money, soft drinks, Chicken and Nyama Choma, Boda boda riders escorted us till Kampala from Jinja. The love these people show to us cannot be taken for granted, we pledge to never let them down and to stay to the cause, No matter what it takes.
