President Yoweri Museveni has left for Davos, Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.
The 4-day gathering that is bringing together leaders from every sector and every part of the world, will discuss, among other topics, tackling climate change, views on refugees, fixing economics in 2019, designing a fairer economy, how Africa’s entrepreneurs are changing the direction of globalization and preparing for the jobs of the future and global cooperation on the challenges ahead. The Forum’s theme is ‘We’re in a new era: Globalization 4.0’.
The President, who left today in the morning, was seen off at Entebbe International airport by Vice President Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, Presidency Minister, Hon. Esther Mbayo, Head of Public Service, Mr. John Mitala and Senior Security officials.
