Police Deny Stopping DJs From Playing Bobi Wine Music

Police in greater Masaka have come out to deny allegations that they have barred DJs, Clubs and bars from playing Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi wine’s Tuliyambala Engule song.

In a statement by greater Masaka Police spokesperson, Lameck Kigozi cleared the air and explained to the public that it’s not true and has never happened in the region where Police officers or security operatives have been seen stopping DJs from playing Tuliyambala Engule song.

Rumours have been making rounds all over Social Media indicating that Police stopped bars and club owners from playing Bobi wine’s song which they have refuted.

“The authors of this information are known political actors and commentators whose intention is to smear and tarnish police image in the region,” the statement reads in parts.

He further added that police will not hesitate to act in accordance with the law where activities of such political fanatics pose a threat to public order.
