One of Longest Serving Police Officer is Dead

Commissioner of Uganda Police Force, Josephine Kakooza has died at Namirembe hospital in the early morning hours of Wednesday 9th January 2019.

Josephine was rushed to the hospital after suffering from hypertension attack, unfortunately she was not able to survive.

Josephine Kakooza was born on June 8th 1955 at Villa Maria hospital Masaka to Joseph Kakooza and Theodore Namutebi Kakooza

Joseph Kakooza was a former Buganda county Chief.

Josephine Kakooza joined the force in 1969 and was among the first women to join Uganda Police in the post-colonial era.

Josephine was the director of Uganda Police Band and she was one of the longest serving officer.
