Police Invades DP Offices

1 Mins read

Police has deployed heavily around the Democratic Party offices located at City House in Kampala.

“Several Uganda Police officers have been here since morning and most of them are not in uniform,” said an eyewitness.

This comes after DP President announced the Red week in show of Solidarity with those opposed to the amendment of Article 102(b) of the constitution.

Earlier today, Mao said that they will walk to Parliament to show that they are not in support of amending the constitution.

Meanwhile DP President Nobert Mao and other Party officials are still inside the party headquarters and by filing this story we had no information on how they will escape police arrest that has cordoned off the whole building.
