Kampala Capital City Authority enforcement officers, Kampala Police and Crime Preventers have embarked on an operation that will see criminals flushed out of the city.

The targeted wrong elements include goons who sabotage the smooth running of KCCA Law enforcement activities, drug addicts, thieves and many idle people.

According to Kampala metropolitan police, operation is aimed at wiping out hard cores and hoodlums who have made it hectic for KCCA teams to enforce city laws.

It should be noted that while enforcing their ordinance laws these particular suspects have been helping or participating in aiding suspects to escape and disrupting KCCA officers on duty.

On an annual record 64 law enforcers have been stoned, beaten and subsequently incapacitating them while executing their duties.

In an operation a few days ago, led to the arrest of over 78 suspects out of which 58 have been arraigned before the magistrate’s Court at City Hall and remanded for 3 months at Luzira Prison
