Stanbic Bank awarded 97 agent bankers countrywide who met their transaction targets for the last back-to-school period of 2024 in the concluding Oli Sorted campaign. The bank has to date handed out rewards worth totaling over 50 Ugx million since mid-year.

Albert Yiga, Head of Stanbic Education Sector at Stanbic Bank said, “At the beginning of this year we started Oli Sorted One and then towards the second term of holiday around May we launched Oli Sorted Two. It is a campaign encompassing both the personal banking benefit and, in this case, we have increased our unsecured limit from UGX250 million to UGX350 million for anybody that earns a salary through Stanbic Bank. You can actually have this loan granted to you in 48 hours.’’

“It is a pleasure to reward our customers for choosing convenience with our seamless banking solutions, and I assure customers that the bank continues to refresh its cyber security measures to safeguard customer investments.” Yiga added.

Tito Ssaka, the Eastern region Head Agent Banking, Stanbic Bank Uganda said, “We have been rewarding agents who have done exceedingly well in the volume and value of the school fees campaign that we are running under Oli Sorted.”

He said, “For one of the agents who did well, her rent worth UGX500,000 was paid. Stanbic Bank also similarly rewarded more agents close to 100 of them in this campaign that is running up to the end of the year. The bank intends to give as many rewards to the agents who have worked with us in this journey from the beginning.”

Flospa Medical Services was the overall winner in June and the owner walked away with UGX500,000. Noah Mobile Services, Aidah & Angel Uganda Limited, Chartisnet Company Limited and Entebbe Goodluck Enterprises Limited won UGX150, 000 each.

When receiving the dummy cheque, Faith Nassali, an agent banker and Director at Flospa Medical Center said, “I’m so happy that I’m the winner of the school fees campaign that has been ongoing since May. Thank you so much Stanbic. I’ve been with Stanbic for close to seven years since 2018 and I’ve never had any issue with them.”

Flospa Medical Services and Aidah & Angel Uganda Limited won in all the four Oli Sorted Campaign draws in a row after hitting the target required for one to be considered a winner.

Over 40 parents countrywide, who paid school fees through a Stanbic agent and other channels, including FlexiPay and SchoolPay, won up to UGX500,000 each in cash-backs.

One of the parents, Grace Baatiyo, expressed satisfaction and thanked Stanbic Bank for gifting them.

Patrick Ssendagire, the Manager of Bethric Communications agency banking services based in Ntinda, hailed Stanbic Bank for offering the best commissions in the market.

“The reason we have won is because we have a great team of four hardworking tellers who are always on top of their game. We make sure that customers are served swiftly because the new Stanbic system enables us to get a float every time we need it,” Ssendagire said.
