Singer Derrick Ddungu also known as Rickman has broken silence for the first time since his mouth was sliced with a glass by Grenade Official.
He has said that Grenade does all that he is doing because he is a drug addict and envious of him.
“This story is funny because it’s built on envy jealousy and drugs (cocaine and ice in particular) this guy has always tried to be in my business many times trying to cause some sort of chaos,” said Rickman on X.
He further said that he doesn’t talk to him because he adds no value to his life.
“I don’t talk to him and we are not friends and I don’t mind him because he adds no value to me.”

I don’t condone violence but I also don’t tolerate disrespect and violence against me or the people around me .
I don’t usually go out to bars to avoid such incidents. Am not clout-chasing or pushing any agenda.
Worse could have happened to me but God still needs me on earth.

His character and vices are not compatible with my way of life.
What happened in the morning I think between 12-2am was that some guys were having a verbal altercation and it was more like banter and it turned into a scuffle and Chaos erupted so I stood up to see what was going like everyone else did so out of the blue this drug addict hit me with a glass or bottle tearing my upper lip and the whole place went crazy.
The bouncers held me and took me out of the bar of course I was mad but I thank God that I never got the culprit in my hands cause petty stuff like that can cost a life.
So my advice to this conflicted 2-brain celled druggy, this is or was a sign for you to change your ways.
