House of Prayer Ministries International Church Lead Pastor, Aloysius Bugingo once again brought his family wars to the pulpit and was seen crying like a hungry baby.
During a service at Canaan land a few months back Bujingo showed concern with the way Pastor Robert kayanja teamed up with his estranged wife Teddy Naluswa Bugingo and the entire family to block his petition of getting a divorce.
For long, it has been a dream of Pastor Aloysius Bugingo to separate from his wife whom he accused of many things among which he mentioned that he was sexually starved since he could not have intercourse because of an abnormality on the wife’s side.
Just a few months later, Bugingo started a romantic relationship with church worker and employee, Suzan Makula.
Pr. Bugingo then hurled insults trashing his dear wife Teddy Naluswa.
Amidst bitter feud, Teddy never wished the new couple well in their new love journey and she was on several occasions seen in public cursing at them.
The two however did not mind and they went ahead to hold a customary ‘Kwanjula’ ceremony and flooded the internet with pictures from the glamourous ceremony.
This was the beginning of trouble because ever since then, they have been involved in a series of scandals including public criticism and court cases.
Troubled House of Prayer Ministries International (HPMI) Lead Pastor, Aloysius Bugingo left his sheep in utter shock and disappointment when he came out and shed tears on his church pulpit while asking God to take shame away from him.
He feels troubled over the court cases plus the public criticism that has befallen the man of God.
His congregation was left speechless since he always managed to pull off the “I don’t care” stunt but it was utter shock to see him breakdown in tears.
The vocal pastor used his recent service to cry to God for help and rescue him from the pain he is going through, probably due to the case before Court.
Enters Mabirizi
Pr. Bugingo and his new wife Suzan Makula were dragged to court by city lawyer, Male Mabirizi accusing them of holding an illegal traditional wedding yet Bugingo is still married to his first wife Teddy Naluswa Bugingo.
In his defense, Pastor Aloysius Bugingo denied ever being introduced as the husband of lover Susan Makula.
“My visit to Susan Makula’s home was just a casual visit and not traditional marriage ceremony,” Bugingo said.
Male Mabirizi has sworn not give up until the pastor and Makula have been tried and convicted of bigamy.
The lawyer warned that the pair risked facing a five-year jail term each for contradicting section 50 of the Marriage Act CAP, 251.
With Mabirizi fighting to ensure that the DPP doesn’t take over the Bujingo case where there would be chances of its discontinuation, the HPMI boss and Makula seem to be left with only God to fight for them.
Legally, Bugingo is married to Teddy Naluswa despite the former having on several occasions tried to divorce the latter to pave way for a new marriage with Makula.
However, Naluswa has always made it clear that she will never give Bugingo a divorce saying she is not ready to break the vow the two made in December 2003, when they tied the knot.
