Obama Joins NBA Africa As Strategic Partner

Former US President Barack Obama has joined NBA Africa as a minority owner.

He will help advance the NBA’s social responsibility programmes.

NBA Africa has launched programmes aimed at improving the livelihoods of young Africans while raising awareness on gender-based violence and promoting girls’ education.

President Obama will be a strategic partner and use this to fund his foundation’s youth and leadership programmes across the continent.
