Ntagali: The Devil Is A Liar But I’m Happiest Man In The World

1 Mins read

Suspended former Archbishop of the Church of Uganda has revealed that he remains a happy man despite the devil’s scheme to give him misery.

Emeritus Archbishop Stanley Ntagali who was suspended last week from Church duties amid adultery claims, made the remarks over the weekend during the give away of his daughter.

“I am always a happy man but the devil is a liar. We are more than conquerors in Jesus’ name,” Ntagali is quoted in one of the online newspapers.

Last week, Ugandans wee treated to the shocking news that Ntagali, respected during his reign as Church of Uganda head, had preyed on another woman.

Archbishop Samuel Kaziimba suspended him from performing any church duties and called on Christians to pray for him to overcome the situation.

“People can say anything. I am the happiest man in the world. This [giveaway of my daughter] has punctuated my misery and all the things that have been happening. I am the happiest man,”  Ntagali told his guests.

To empathise his message, Ntagali quoted a biblical verse from Romans 8:31.
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” he said.

It was the first time Ntagali was commenting on the matter.
