Godfrey Kirumira and wife were beaten over land in Muyenga after Kirumira tried to stop a tractor from clearing the road on which his hotel sits.
Kirumira and his workers had a fight with military, and Dr. Ben Khingi’s people who were clearing the road. The fight left Kirumira with no shoes, and a police case between the two recorded.
It is reported that Kirumira was only saved by fellow wealthy man, Hamis Kiggundu who was passing by when the scuffle happened.
It has been organised that both parties pull out their police files, and the case be solved personally.
