Uganda’s Willy Mutenza Nominated For African Business Leader of The Year

A lot of goodluck has befallen Africa lately, and Uganda hasn’t missed any bit of it. Business man Willy Mutenza has gotten us back on the map with being nominated for African Business leader of fhe year.

Uganda born Willy Mutenza who is the Managing Director of Promota Africa Ltd was nominated for African Business Leader of the Year Award by the African Disruptive Technology Conference.

Promota Africa Ltd has interests in magazine publication, events management, private equity bridging, printing and design, web and multimedia design and property in Uganda.

Willy Mutenza is an influential business man in the UK as he has been recognized a number of times.

Willy has won various awards among others: Common Wealth Business Innovation Award (2008), UCAA Awards – Communications and Media (2008), Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award – BB Awards (2014), GAB Award for promotion of the Positive image of Africa (2014).

Willy also won an innovative award for inventing a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi marketing device (ePRO Bluetooth Long Range advertising transmitter). The “ePro Bluetooth” a mobile marketing device, allows businesses to send adverts to mobile phones by free transfer of content between mobile devices using the Bluetooth signal.

The Awards Ceremony are to be held at the grand Sheraton Hotel in London’s Mayfair on Thursday 24th October 2019, headed by the Honourable Andrew Stephenson MP, UK Minister of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Department for International Development responsible for Africa.

The opening ceremony will however be held at the UK Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 23rd October 2019.
