Latest reports reaching us from Swangz Avenue record label reveal that all is not well again between singer Winnie Nakanwagi aka Nwagi and her bosses Julius Kyazze alongside Benon Mugumbya.
Reports indicate that her bosses are no longer on talking terms with their artiste.
It is said that Nwagi is so stressed and wants to quit the label and struggle on her own, after her bosses failing to organize her a concert since she Joined the label in 2014.
Sources say that these days Nwagi talks to them through a messenger at Swangz only identified as Isaac, whom her bosses send in case they want to notify her of any event.
It is said that she has spent close to four months now without any telephone or physical talks with the bosses.
It is said Nwagi got mad after realizing that the managment doesn’t have any plans to organize for her a concert this or next year.
The `Mataala’ singer feels that the label has taken her for granted for the years she has been churning out hit songs.
An insider intimated that Nwagi is these days deliberately trying to taint the reputation of the label so that they consider ending her contract due to her misconduct and rotten behaviour to fire her.
Snoops say Nwagi was left gloating about the label’s dedication of their efforts to her counterpart singer Veronica Lugya alias Vinka, who signed a juicy deal with Sony Music a few months ago.
Sources say that Nwagi is grieving because she believes she has all it takes to have such deals but they are not promoting her music like they do for Vinka.
Word on the street has it that Nwagi feels the label has neglected her music career by failing to convince any promoter to buy her concert such that she can be like her female contemporaries, yet she feels she has a bigger fan base and better songs.
It is indicated that out of frustration, Nwagi has kept displaying unprofessional conduct like abusing journalists, harassing Producers, and being violent with her fans so that Swangz’s image also gets affected and they let her go before the contract expires.
Last month, Nwagi smashed a fan’s smart phone for allegedly filming her thighs during a performance.
Prior to that she was involved in a scandal where she was accused of seductively dancing with minors at St Mary’s Kisubi (SMACK).
