Despite government efforts to rejuvenate the national broadcaster with a whooping Shs20Bn that was injected in UBC buy the ministry of finance, things are not that rosy yet.

Snoops reveal that junior staffers are crying foul after going three months without pay. We hear some junior staffers were planning to petition the Speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga to intervene before staging a strike next week.

An insider revealed that some workers tried to meet the new Board of Directors but were blocked by top bosses.

It is revealed that top Managers and other bosses are paid through the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance yet other staffers are left to wait for their salary from UBC, yet the entity is still struggling to attract revenue which they can use to pay salaries of presenters and other technical people.
