For the past three days, singer Jose Chameleone’s Kololo based bar DNA Lounge has been under key and lock following misappropriation of funds.
We have learnt that the singer is involved in a bitter feud with the Muzungu manager identified as Maxim GK Steurbaut.
It is revealed that the two are feuding again after the singer conducted an audit of his bar and found out that he has been making losses.
Snoops say that the singer later discovered that the manager had allegedly mismanaged funds and about Shs300m could not be traced.
It is said that Maxim allegedly mismanaged and went ahead to empty the bar’s accounts without the singer’s knowledge.
It was discovered that most of the alcoholic suppliers demand a lot of money from the bar which the Muzungu manager has not been remitting.
On finding out the losses, the singer swiftly relieved Maxim of his duties at the bar and closed it on Thursday so that he can rearrange the management.
Meanwhile, we have learnt that Chameleone is very stressed after the mismanagement at the bar because he partners with some other Muzungu pensioner who injected almost all the money in the business but has never received any return on the investment.
We hear Chameleone was planning to arrest Maxim to recover his money but he abandoned the idea because it might turn against him since the former bar manager knows some dirty secrets of the singer since the two have been tight for some years.
