Minister for Youth and children affairs Hon Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi has on Tuesday 2nd April 2019 met Patrick Ssenyonjo alias Fresh Kid at her office in Kampala.
Hon Nakiwala Kiyingi has dug deep the needs for education for Fresh Kid and promised to do all what it takes to support the young rapper.
The meeting happened due to criticism over the minister’s recent statement that took attention of both Social Media, main stream media and Ugandans at large.
The Minster had ordered Fresh Kid to stop stage performances and go back to school with immediate effect.
Two days back Fresh Kid released a new song requesting the minster to allow him continue with his singing carrier because he also wants to be like some artist who started music while very young.
The minister also agreed to work with the management team of Fresh Kid on how to balance both books and his singing career.
