Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine explained through his different social media platforms that his fellow singer Moses Ssali commonly known as Bebe cool is not his enemy.
Following the famous handshake and hug the two singers shared during 10 years of Eddy Kenzo concert on Friday 4th at Serena that left many Ugandans talking and perhaps hopeful that the two artists have mended their differences,
Bobi wine says Bebe cool is not his enemy and called for unity blaming the regime for playing divide and rule politics.
“As expected, seeing me and my brother and fellow artist Bebe Cool greet and hug after a long time excited many people,” he stated
Bobi wine noted that he has been saying all along that he has no problem with Bebe Cool because he is his fellow artists and a man, he had known for many years but above all a fellow Ugandan.
“They want to turn us against each other whenever they have a chance. We have a chance and we can play into their game and redeem ourselves,” he added
Bobi Wine stated that the problems of Ugandans are bigger than the two of them and the issues which Uganda faces cannot and should not be reduced to a Bobi Wine – Bebe Cool affair.
“We should therefore not lose sight of who our real enemy is or what the real problem is, we should not allow ourselves to be distracted,” he said
“If one of us got an accident on the road and we can find a hospital to give us emergency care, it won’t matter if it’s me or Bebe Cool”
The singing Legislator also praised singer Edirisa Musuuza also known as Eddy Kenzo for a wonderful performance he showcased at Serena hotel Kampala.
“I am proud to have seen Kenzo walk this journey with hard work and discipline.”
He also stated that it was great for him to meet up with leaders and friends including the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga.
