Government has launched a major program to improve the delivery of quality nutrition.

Good nutrition is one of the elements of primary health care that aims at improving feeding and growth of children in Uganda.

Young children below the age of 10 are among vulnerable group of people who need good nutrition, poor feeding can lead to malnutrition.

Government of Uganda has decided to launch a major program to improve the delivery of quality nutrition services across in eight districts in Karamoja region.

The three-year program will ensure that children access higher quality nutrition services which are essential to their health development and growth.
