Few Ugandans know little about Rtd Col. Kiiza Besigye’s first born child he sired with a one late Judith Bitwire during the bush war known as Ampa Adam Besigye.
He has lived most of his life in the US until recently when he completed his first degree in Fine Art.
Information we are getting is that Ampa is in the last stages of getting on the plane and fly back to his fatherland Uganda and reunite with his family after a long period of time.
Sources furthermore indicated that the humble talking Ampa is ready to adjust to a new life here in Uganda with the support of his Father.
Two months back after graduating, it is understood that Besigye argued his son to get back and start up a new life in Uganda and promised to support him in any way. since his artworks in the US little earns him a better living.
A brief history of Ampa
Ampa’s mother late Judith Bitwire hailed from Kasese district but sadly passed on in 1998.
A source who went through primary school with Ampa revealed to us that Ampa’s mum before she died used to live in Bugolobi where Besigye had bought her a house.
Source adds that Besigye had to fly Ampa to the US and start living with his other relatives when he was 14 years old after misunderstandings developed between him and wife Winnie Byanyiima.
It is rumoured that ever since then, Ampa has never stepped a foot in Besigye’s home again.
However, Besigye feels its time up his first born child gets back home. Ampa was born in 1986.
