NTV News anchor Josephine Karungi has been appointed head of News at the Serena based station.
Karungi steps into the shoes of his mentor, Maurice Mugisha who threw in a towel to join UBC.
“Ms Josephine Karungi has been appointed as acting Head of News in the NTV Uganda News Department, reporting to the General Manager Editorial, Mr Daniel Kalinaki. #NTVNews Karungi has been a news anchor and producer at NTVU,” reads a tweet on the NTV twitter timeline.
Karungi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Makerere university.
She joined NTV in 2009 as a news anchor and currently presents a life style show called ‘Perspective With Josephine Karungi’.
