Yesterday, Kyadondo East MP, Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi famously known by his stage name Bobi Wine came back to Uganda from UAE and has revealed that he will promote the freedom song the more.
“I did that song out of conscience and out of desire to represent my people and everything I talked about is what is happening in our beloved country,” said Bobi wine before adding that;
“I am back to even promote it more because freedom is what everybody desires and is what everybody yearns for.”
This website understands that the Kyadondo East MP outed a song titled Freedom.
In the song, Bobi Wine urges Ugandan to rise up and fight for their freedom.
It’s worth noting that UCC threatened to arrest Bobi Wine for producing songs that ‘incite violence.’
Sources have also revealed that security agencies have been warning radio stations and TVs not to play the Freedom song.
In the past two weeks, Bobi Wine was in South African and UAE where he met Ugandans in Diaspora and performed at some concerts.
“I had gone for many things, I had several meeting with Ugandans in diaspora and I had different concerts. I had 4concerts in South Africa and others in Dubai.”
