Last week Sheraton Kampala hotel joined the rest of the Marriott hotels to celebrate and appreciate employees for their dedication, commitment and outstanding service to the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each\nyear, Marriott International marks the anniversary of its founding by\ndedicating a week to celebrate and acknowledge Marriott employees for their\neffort and contribution towards exceptional services and recognize them as the\ntrue essence behind excellent customer care. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As\nan associate of Marriott hotels, Sheraton Kampala hotel celebrated the week by\norganizing a series of activities which staff competition, awarding the best\nperforming employees and played fun games at the hotel gardens among others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also\nthe Senior Management Team preparing different food delicacy from their country\nof origin and served employees lunch at staff canteen. For example the GM Mr. Jean Philippe\nBittencourt cooked a Brazilian meal; Deputy GM Mr. Martin Bredenoord prepared a\nSouth Africa delicacy, Mr. Deepak, Head of Food and Beverage offered the Indian\ncuisine food whereas Mrs. Helen Ssali, Learning and Development Manager\nprepared a delicious Luwombo to represent the central Uganda tradition\ngastronomy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According\nto the hotel\u2019s General Manger, Mr. Jean Philippe Bittencourt, the associate\nappreciate week is an annual Marriott culture event set aside every year to\nappreciate and recognize its employees for the\nhard work and dedicated efforts in\nensuring that there is a soon running at the hotel across all facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joselyn\nNgiine, the PR and Marketing Manager at the Hotel urged that the Associate\nAppreciation Week creates greater staff engagement within the Sheraton family\nand builds a stronger team synergy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
