Thousands\nof Muslims and non-Muslims across the country thronged Namboole stadium on\nSunday 23th to listen to the Mufti of Zimbabwe and a motivational speaker Sheik\nIsmail Ibn Musa Menk who is traversing the world on his building the bridge\ntour aimed at creating peace and promoting unity among Muslims and non-Muslims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mufti\nMenk jetted in the country on Thursday and on Friday gave a wonderful sermon at\nold Kampala mosque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muslims\nwere so excited and anxious to listen to Mufti Menk though the Sunshine was too\nmuch, it did not stop the crowd from flocking in to listen to his beautiful\nmessage.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sheik\nMenk preached glad tidings to the entire Muslims population and urged them to\nkeep blood ties and spread love among themselves.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\nadded that building bridges is aimed at cleaning the image of Islam, uniting\nMuslims, promoting good relationship among humanity.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\nurged Muslims to work together and propagate peace among different\ndenominations as they follow the footsteps of prophet Muhammad (PBUH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBuilding\nbridges should start with an individual, then to the family members and to\nothers,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\ncalled upon Muslims to be humble and calm in whatever they do<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u201cDon\u2019t be arrogant, Islam teaches love for one\nanother regardless of their faith, for they were also created by the same\ncreator that created you,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\nstated that disunity is caused by men and women who keep on praising others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne\nof the problems of human is to raise man above others,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\nnoted that when someone is praised too much, he or she fails to recognize his\nor her mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\nwill never excel if you don\u2019t love those who correct your mistakes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile\nMufti of Uganda, Sheik Ramadhan Mubajje told Muslim that building bridges\nshould be a starting point of unity for all Muslims who are not yet united.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President\nMuseveni in his message that was delivered by the State Minister for International\nAffairs, Gen Jeje Odong, he appealed to the Muslims to always maintain peace\nand unity they are exhibiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\nadded that peace and unity is the only way of serving God with contentment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
