Kasese\nMunicipality Member of Parliament Hon Robert Centenary has on said that people\nof Uganda are tired of empty promises and it\u2019s a high time to deal with such kind\nof situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nmade the statement while appearing on one of the local TV stations on Tuesday\n2nd April 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nadded that the practicability of the people\u2019s government leaves a lot to be\ndesired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe\nmost important thing at this point in time is the point at which we come\ntogether for a common cause,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hon\nCentenary said they might have a candidate of the political party but if there are\nsimilar minded forces of change willing to work together, there will be no harm\nas long as victory is going to be delivered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\nhave to cooperate and work with Hon Bobi Wine because he is part of the\nopposition in Uganda. We should not alienate him, he is pursuing the same goal like\nForum for Democratic Change.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nurged opposition to come together for a common cause but if there are some\nindividuals who think that certain political entities don\u2019t have much to\ncontribute towards the cause then the opposition would have lost greatly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDr\nKizza Besigye being a symbol of the opposition for quite a long time, he should\nnurture these other political organizations,\u201d he added<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile\nHon Mwijukye Francis said people\u2019s government is about the people who believe\nin change, people who want to defend Ugandans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe\nopposition is getting stronger. We can have few characters that have decided to\nremain confused but the opposition is getting stronger and the population too,\u201d\nHon Mwijukye said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nfurther added that it\u2019s not about parties, it\u2019s about progressive Ugandans who\nhave decided to come up with government that works for the people. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
