Police have recovered bodies of two students of St.\nBernard Nkozi Demonstration School after eight days of disappearance and the\nremains of the body parts were found torn in pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They were recovered from Kalagala-Gayaza village in\nMpigi District on Monday 18th March 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The gruesome murder left the natives of the area\nin shock and asked authorities to take serious action to end such atrocities in\nthe country at large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said parts of their bodies were found\nscattered in Namagongolo forest at Kalagala-Gayaza village on Monday 18th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The students were identified as Nalweyiso and\nMuyingo who went missing from their grandparent\u2019s home a week ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n District Criminal Intelligence officer Mpigi\ndistrict, Mr Andrew Ainembabazi, stated that the bodies were found by locals in\nthe area after spending sleepless nights searching after they were reported\nmissing for some days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After Police visiting the scene, they found only\nsome parts of the body while other parts missing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe boy\u2019s body parts were in pieces and We also\nfound two empty jerrycans at the scene, so that was the situation at the scene,\u201d\nMr Ainembabazi explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, he promised the locals that more\ninvestigations are still on going and all the assailants will be brought to courts\nof law and justice will prevail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis is an unfortunate incident that has\nbefallen in this village, but we shall do whatever it takes to find out the\nmotive behind this kind of gruesome murder,\u201d he added <\/p>\n\n\n\n The parts of the deceased were taken to Mulago\nNational Referral Hospital in the capital Kampala for post-mortem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, police have arrested six people\nincluding the deceased\u2019s grandparents and a traditional healer from Sembabule\nDistrict in central Uganda to aid in their investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mr Richard Jjombwe, the village chairman condemned\nthe gruesome murder and blamed the guardians and parents who neglect their\nchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis is really very bad and the perpetrators\nshould be brought to book, we condemn this in our society, these were innocent\npeople,\u201d chairman said <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Police have recovered bodies of two students of St. Bernard Nkozi Demonstration School after eight days of disappearance and the remains of the body parts were found torn in pieces.
