Reports\nreaching us have it that celebrated media and events personality and emcee\nDavid Kazoora aka J. Kazoora has quit UBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Snoops\nreveal Uganda Broadcasting Corporation, where he had scooped a deal to provide\ncontent to sister stations has decided to move on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\nshould be noted that Kazoora scooped the deal to manage Magic One TV and Magic\nFM as both stations’ new content provider under Buddies Production. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sources\nsay that Kazoora was forced to dump the deal after failing to the yield\nmillions he had anticipated from it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\nhave established that Kazoora was either dumped by UBC management or he just\nquit after failing to get the money he had envisioned while signing the deal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
An\ninsider revealed that Kazoora’s content failed to attract viewership which in\nthe end could not get sponsors to finance the shows, thus failing on hitting\ntargets set by his bosses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\nhave learnt that out of frustration he decided to quit the deal and it is\ncurrently under the new watchful eyes of former NTV MD Maurice Mugisha. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile\nwe have learnt that Kazoora is regretting the UBC deal because he sunk a lot of\nmoney in refurbishing and setting up the studios whereby since management\nrefused to fund the project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\nis said that the former TV star secured a bank loan to enable him procure new\nequipment to provide better services for three media channels which he was\ngiven to run and even hired various presenters to work under his Buddies\nProduction, with anticipations of making good money from the advertising\ndepartment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
However,\nthe projections he had never scored to his expectations, and he is said to be\nstruggling to service the bank loan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
