Led by leader of Opposition, Betty Aol Achan,\nthe members of the shadow cabinet are camping at Imperial Golf hotel, Entebbe\nfor two days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s\nin this meeting that the opposition has accused the technical staff attached to\ntheir offices in Parliament of spying on them in the favour of the ruling\ngovernment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mukono\nMunicipality Member of Parliament Betty Nambooze said NRM with its greed and\nselfishness hires its cadres to work in Opposition offices hence requiring them\nto leak their information in order to frustrate their efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut\nwe should be able to kick off the government spies from our offices,\u201d she\nadded <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nopposition also claimed that some technical staff attached to accountability\ncommittees of parliament doctor reports in favour of the ruling party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Opposition\nalso added that for any person to serve in technical office as a clerk to a\ncommittee or a clerk to the leader of opposition, one must be in opposition\nalso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile\nObongi County Member of Parliament, Hon Fungaroo Kaps Hassan said the\nopposition does not have equal share of time given by the speaker to debate on\nthe floor of parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere\nis need to balance the time given to opposition, we must convince the house,\u201d he\nsaid<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NRM\nMember of Parliament for Isingiro South, Alex Byarugaba dismissed the claim\nsaying it\u2019s not true<\/p>\n\n\n\n
