Police accused Hon Ssewanyana of spearheading\nunlawful protest against alarming Health status of the government hospital,\nKiruddu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hon\nAllan Sswanyana attempted to lock down Kiruddu Hospital due hygiene status of\nthe hospital where the constituents complained of many months about the issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According\nto the charge sheet, Makindye West legislator Hon Allan Sswanyana has been\ncharged with unlawful Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is what he said upon his release<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Following\nmy inhuman arrest on Monday while demanding for the fixation of the sewerage\nsystem at Kiruddu Hospital and consequently, detention at Naggalama Police\nStation, I have finally been released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\nhave been charged with Unlawful Society, which is categorically a tramped up\nand malicious charge, aimed at silencing me from demanding for accountability\nof the released billions of tax payer’s money to fix the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\nam a member of Parliament who has all the right to meet and interact with my\nconstituents at any time, to discuss issues that concern them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Like\nI earlier indicated, I lobbed for Shs3.5 billion from the Health and finance\ncommittees of Parliament, which was released to fix the sewerage system of the\nhospital which has not only become a problem to the neighbourhood, but also\npatients and workers therein.
