Tulambule\nis a campaign that was started to promote domestic tourism in partnership with\nthe Uganda Tourism Board (UTB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This\ncomes after a group of Digital Marketing group known as influencers were not\npaid their money yet they had done their job. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\ninfluencers used their own money to pay for accommodation, food among others\nand they were never paid back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kazoora\nwho promised Influencers Shs150,000 per day, end up paying them Shs50,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\nis also believed that he abandoned the team in Gulu and came back to Kampala to\nhave quality time with the slay queens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sources\nhave revealed that there was a serious exchange of texts on a WhatsApp group\nand clearly Kazoora was mad with influencers who were demanding for their net\npay worth Shs600,000 each for the 4 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Campus Bee quoted one of the strongly worded texts sent by an influencer;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPeople\nlearn to respect other people\u2019s hustle. Digital marketing is what I do for a\nliving and if I do work for you and you cannot respect my efforts it is okay. I\ncan never lower my standards for something not worth my effort. Thank you, JK\n[Kazoora] for the experience but not all of us swallow bull shit. The money you\nare offering me does not even pay up for the money I paid people to help me\npush your gig. Let me count this as a loss and learning experience. I do not\nexpect any money from you but this is likely to affect your brand and public\nimage. The same energy we used to make tulambule trend can be used to something\nelse.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kazoora\nreplied (in the same WhatsApp group); \u201cThis boy is crazy\u2026 just talked to him\nand agreed \u2026 this is what we call career breaking moment.\u201d before going ahead\nto calm down the furious influencers by offering to pay them shs200,000 each\nfor the 4 days as opposed to shs600,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hell\nbroke loose as the influencers insisted that they should be paid the full\namount that was agreed upon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One\nof the influencers (names withheld) wrote (in the same WhatsApp group): \u201cI got\nflue from the trip. I have so far spent 200K on medication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
