This\nchallenge has cropped due to the high intense drought that has made clean water\nscarce in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wells\nhave gone dry and people have resorted to sharing water with domestic and wild\nanimals which will cause a big impact in their lives which include contracting\nwater diseases like diarrhoea diseases among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Residents\nurge government to extend water projects to their area to curb this challenge\nas they are living in fear of suffering from diseases got through drinking\ndirty water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Getting\nwater in Nakasongola district, one needs to move a long distance which is like\n5km in order to access water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through\na phone interview with the state minister of water Hon Kibuule Ronald assured\nthe residents of Nakasongola district that water problem will be solved with\nimmediate effect <\/p>\n\n\n\n
”\nWe understand the current situation in Nakasongola but we shall handle the\nsituation in the shortest period possible” he added<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of\nrecent, Hon Kibuule Ronald was in some of Western districts which include Kasese,\nKamwenge, Kyenjojo and Kabarole where he was opening water projects aimed at\nextending and providing clean, safe water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
