{"id":8124,"date":"2019-02-14T09:06:09","date_gmt":"2019-02-14T06:06:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/?p=8124"},"modified":"2019-02-14T09:19:06","modified_gmt":"2019-02-14T06:19:06","slug":"over-200-israelis-set-to-tour-different-historical-places-in-uganda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ugmirror.com\/index.php\/2019\/02\/14\/over-200-israelis-set-to-tour-different-historical-places-in-uganda\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 200 Israelis set to tour different historical places in Uganda"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A\ngroup of 250 Israel tourists have landed in Uganda to visit different historic\nplaces in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\nwill also tour the historic site because of July 4th 1976 raid that took place\nat Entebbe old airport at which one of their own citizen Yona Netanyahu lost\nhis life in the struggle to rescue hostages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ngroup were warmly welcomed on Wednesday 13<sup>th<\/sup> February 2019 at\nEntebbe International airport by the civil aviation authority and the outgoing Chief\nExecutive officer of the Uganda Tourism Board, Mr Stephen Asiimwe <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ntourists will tour areas along River Nile in Jinja, Old terminal building at\nEntebbe International airport among other interesting places in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nvisitors are to spend three days touring the country and they are expected to\nexit the country on 16th February 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ngroup of tourists were led by a one Tali Yativ, the Chief Executive Officer of Spirit\nWorld Production, a tourism promotion company in Israel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A group of 250 Israel tourists have landed in Uganda to visit different historic places in the country.
