Gen. Sabiiti Muzeeyi today toured\nKaruma Hydropower Project to assess the security at the plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maj.\nGen. Sabiiti also inspected the ongoing works at the project to see where it\nhas reached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\nassured the contractors of Police&#8217;s commitment to provide security to the\ninstallation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This\nis one of the vital institutions that we are supposed to provide security to\nand we shall do that as our mandate provides,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According\nto EPCC Sinohydro Corporation, overall physical progress is currently at 90%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr.\nEng. Harrison E. Mutikanga &#8211; CEO, UEGCL led the the Deputy Inspector General of\nPolice and his team on a guided site tour to the on ground dam and intake,\nswitch yard to the underground power house, transformer cavern, surge chamber,\noutfall and lastly to the Permanent Employers Camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maj.\nGen.
