On\nMonday evening, armed men raided DFCU Bank, Bwaise branch and attempted to move\naway with sacks of Money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\nis believed that several men attacked the bank and injured some of the workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSeveral\narmed men ambushed our staff as they were closing up to leave the branch after\nwork. Unfortunately, during the attack, some of our employees were physically\nassaulted. The affected staff are currently receiving medical attention and\ncounselling. We are doing everything to ensure they get back to their feet as\nquickly as possible,\u201d reads the statement issued by the bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nBwaise branch has since remained closed until the investigations into this\nrobbery are complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
