Minister\nof State for Finance, David Bahati has cautioned the youth against making\nmistakes through political atmosphere and influence that have swallowed most of\nthem and urged them not be deceived by such groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nadded that youth should refrain from joining and participating in People Power pressure\nmovement led by Legislator for Kyadondo East Hon Robert Kyagulanyi commonly\nknown as Bobi Wine<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These\ncomments were made during the celebration of 33 National Resistance Movement in\nKabale district on 26th January 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The\nyouths have become a key interest group for politicians, trying to win over\ntheir hearts and votes, ” he stated<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPeople\nPower is a minority in Kabale and if you choose to join them, you will be\nchoosing a short-term strategy,\u201d he stressed<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nurged youth not to be diverted by self-seeking individuals<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\ntold youth that the NRM has created a number of avenues for them to prosper\nincluding income generating projects like Operation Wealth Creation among\nothers <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nfurther added that all efforts will be consolidated to convince president\nMuseveni to stand in 2021 as the NRM sole candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
